    New Beginner. I got a 40 gal. aquarium for Christmas and need to figure what kind of aquarium to build. I've had my 10 gal fresh water for 13 years and want to move up to salt water this time. What resources should I read or web pages would I look into for specifics on reef or other? What fish live in harmony with others? so on....

    Welcome to 3reef. You can get pretty much all your answers here.. Just a few things to remember with saltwater systems... Live Sand, Live Rock & a protein skimmer are all MUSTS!!!! Most important, TAKE IT SLOW.. ;)
