Mantis or not to Mantis that is the question?

Thank you for all the info Stepho! I really appreciate it K+. I am home but Samantha the stomatopod is not cooperating for her photo shoot. My daughter took charge on naming the Mantis so we are calling her Sammi for short and yes my daughter believes she is a female so who am I to argue with a 9 year old . I will post pictures as soon as she comes out.

 

I completely understand. I have owned my pal Fister for over a year and I only have a few good pictures. If he is out of his den he is far too busy to let me take a good picture. He is either deep within his rocks smashing something or zooming around the tank.

 

Well this is the best I can do for tonight. You can see those very distinguishable eyes looking back at me

 

Well Sammi is coming out on a regular basis, problem is she is fast. I took about 15 pictures but this is the only one that is not blurry . Hope you like her as much as I do!
