So i figured that im done with my 29g biocube(As in, no more adding of corals and fish :( ) I was gunna do a small 10g and a mantis shrimp...What would i need for it? I want to keep it pretty basic. And what does a manits shrimp normally go for these days also?

Here is what i was thinking.

    10g tank(Petsmart)
    5-10lbs of rock
    2.5 deep sandbed
    small HOB filter
    heater
small powerhead?(Do i need one for a manits if i have a HOB filter)

    Is this good?

sounds good but you'll need more sand since mantis shrimp like to make burrows with rock rubble and sand!

Powered might be good for flow if you need it to keep the algae down. I got my n. Wennerae for free, just a 2 hrs drive to get it. The best website closed, but you can find them on live aquaria divers den every once in a while for $50 or more depending on species.

the 2.5 sand should be fine, i traded in a 2.5" skunk for a 1.5" mantis shrimp so i estimate around 25$. i would suggest getting sand that has multiple grain sizes IMO.
