Mantis shrimp tank help

    I got a free truvu tank and it is 20 gallons. The dimensions are 36+12+12. It is about 3/16 inch thick acrylic. I believe it is acrylic. Is that to thin and small for a green mantis shrimp or peacock mantis shrimp

    Tank in general is too small for a peacock mantis though a green is perfect.

    You generally don't have to worry about thickness with stomatopods unless you plan to tease it a lot. They have some of the best eyes in the animal kingdom and are extremely intelligent for their size, they aren't going to just randomly shatter your glass.

    I'm trying to remove my green mantis that came on a LR. can't seem to catch him.

    So i am good with the tank i have as long as i dont tees it to have it crack the acrylic
