    How long did it take yours to get brave enough to go swimming or exploring? I wish this guy was bigger so he couldn't fit in the stupid holes in the live rock :p

    cool video! I dont think I could ever go anything that small though after Bob! Bob I drop a very large turbo in and he is done, smack smack chow down time!

    When I am feeding non-live things (most often) all I have to do is get a feeding stick and put a piece of krill on it and he will grab it! He will eat 2-3 krill each feedings!

    So I fear I would be inpatient at feeding times then...

    That is a cool mantis though! I forget is he a smasher or a piercer?

    About a month and a half lol. Bad news. When he gets bigger he will either make the holes in the rock bigger, or he will burrow under the rocks. He will always have a place to hide, and will hide a lot of the time. Even when mine is exploring he will swim from hiding place to hiding place. Its still fun to watch though.
