    Hi all,
Any downside to just leaving a mantis shrimp in the refugium? Discovered him this week. Refugium has been uo for about 4 months. Will he need to be fed? Thanks!- Paul

There's really no downside to him being in there. I'm not too sure if there's an upside to it though...haha. But he can't get out to hurt any inverts or fish.

What do you feed your main tank occupants?

They guys in the tank get a mixture of meat base and green based flake food, algae sheets and frozen cubes #2. I've given the mantis some meat flflake food just to get him out to take a look at him.-Paul

If your food you feed in your tank has a way to get down into the fuge through the plumbing then the mantis should have some food to eat. I dunno. How much do you care about him? :D

Not much. I guess he must be getting something since he's been there for 4 months without supplement.- Paul
