    Yeah it is. I don't know if they are out of business for good though. I have heard the owner is going back to school and doesn't have time to run the business right now.

    Caribbean rock mantis, but it is rarely used. Wennerae is more commonly used.


    A word of warning, I have heard of several people getting the wrong species from blue zoo aquatics. I am not saying I wouldn't order from there, but just don't be too disappointed if they send you the wrong species.

    I can say that I received the correct species. I was definitely skeptical! Every time that I have ordered from them, their customer service has been great, so if they DID send you the wrong species, you could probably work something out.

    Ciliatas are also very interactive and somewhat common.

    spearers are usually inactive and hide though right? :-[

    I've had 2 and the daughter had 1. Neither of them hide. They were just as interactive as the peacock and built a very elaborate tunnel system. She was always out digging like a puppy. They sat on the top of the rock waiting to be fed. Being a spearer does not guarantee a "hider"... look at the chigara, they are a clubber and hide like all-get-out.
