    24gallon aquarium
    20lbs base rock
    12-15lbs live rock
    hithhickers: tiny emerald crab, a few brittle starfish.

    Excellent. Good luck with your cycle.

    After my cycle completed, I've counted 6 dwarf brittle sea stars. So I'd think yours would make it through the cycle. My hitchhiking emerald crab did not make it. Good luck!

    I'm so excited and nervous at the same time...I guess it is a good thing that the cycle can take a while....because I would be BROKE! lol

    Ditto on the test kits. Most people don't buy the full battery of test and try and skimp. Its one of those things you have to spend money on. You might already know that anyways.:)
