I just ordered 150 lbs of rock and was wondering what the story is on this stuff dieing off and leaching phosphates. I don't want to let it sit in a bin for months so I was wondering if I need to give it an acid bath?

What's the directions for an acid bath?

    Thanks

Rock looks super super clean to me and bright white!

Might just stick it in the tank...

Nope, did some tests and they were no different than before I added the rocks.

I just put my 150 lbs in my tank a couple weeks ago. Washed it really good with ro water and stuck it in. it is really clean rock even had a hard time getting my tank to start cycling because of the lack of dead organic matter.

I just washed my dry rock with water before putting it in the tank. Just gets rid of some of the dust from shipping.
