I bought a marine Betta exactly a week ago. It was a fairly large and beautiful fish. I've feed it ghost shrimp twice in the past week and it has ate well but this morning when the lights came on its almost entire right side is white like the scales are falling off and it's eye is kinda cloudy. I'm really freaking out because it's is a beautiful fish and it wasn't that cheap either. Please guys help me out

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
To assist you better please include an image if possible, ammonia/nitrite/nitrate levels.

No I agree they are not cheap and a unique fish but not the easiest fish to care for long term.

Any possible aggression issues taking place?

I'm doing water tests right now, and I'll try to get a pic when he comes out. If there is aggression I'm not sure where it's coming from. His tank mates include: a coral
Beauty, a false clown, a neon fire fish, and a diamond back golby, along with one cleaner shrimp and some snails and hermits. He's also the biggest fish in the tank

Ok, so water parameters are: nitrates- 0, nitrites- 0, ammonia- 0, calcium- 440, KH- 161.1 or 9, Ph- 8.0, and salinity- 1.024. The only thing that was really off at all was the salinity and it was just slightly low. Idk what is causing this, it's almost like fish leprosy.

An SG of 1.024 should not be an issue.

Sick Marine Betta - The Reef Tank

I couldn't get the photos to load but this is exactly how mine looks. This is on another marine fish forum and I joined it when I saw this thread to ask what happened and haven't gotten a response yet.
