My 2 YT damnsels always play tricks on my eyes as well. I always think that I see white on them but I think it is just that they are always hiding in the rocks and I think the way their scales sit causes this effect. All my fish are eating but now I am in fear that my Yellow Tang may have ich because I saw 2 small bumps, like microscopic, on both sides of his rear. I can't get a good look because he is always moving but I have been doing my research just in case. Also, I bought a long-spine urchin from the LFS the other day. Went back in there and noticed a few tanks with ich and now I am freaked out because I didn't QT or dip.

    Hard lessons learned for newbies...

Yeah it is a scary thought. My fish are wierd though they swim aroudn the tank but more often they stay on the site where the powerhead sits. probably to stay out of the current im guessing. ( Fish: YT and 2 clowns)

see I would think opposite of that...my urchin LOVES it over by the powerhead and so I had to put a net around it so he doesn't die. But I would think they are over near it because the LIKE the current. Not the one blowing out at them but maybe the one sucking the water into it. Man, sometimes my clowns go behind the overflow and I think this is where they would hide to get away from the current.
