i have a biocube 14 and its been running for a couple years. I just got it from a friend and bought some kits for the water. The marine starter kit has a Essential Elements : Biologically essential trace minerals necessary for a healthy aquarium. Pro- Ammonia Detox : neutralize ammonia that can build up in the tank and a Pro Buffer dkH: buffer to raise water alkalinity and maintain a stable PH. My question is can i use all of these solutions at once or do i need to wait or space the applications out.?????

Neither... I have read other of your posts on here and glad you are asking questions. You definately need to do some research.

You shouldnt need any of these products at all, much less if you dont have an issue. The ammonia detox is supposed to lower ammonia and the other is a ph buffer. These are made to help you lower ammonia if you have it and raise ph if its too low. General rule of thumb.. dont dose something your not testing for.

Avoid the newbie mistake of buying tons of kent chemicals. If setup properly your tank should not need them. Invest in a good full liquid test kit and test weekly. If there is an issue. Post it on here and we can help you properly solve it.

LOL its all good.. been there.

Get a good liquid test kit.. I assume your tank is already cycled.

If you start getting a lot of coral then you may need to dose calcium.. other than that.. you shouldnt need to dose anything. Some people dose additives for corals colorization etc. That is a ways down the road though.

Get a good test kit, forget the nem for now, fill her full of some nice soft corals. Zoas, mushrooms, xenia, etc and rock it out until you upgrade lighting.

Ohh yeah, and post some pics up!
