I haven't heard of marine tech. skimmers but they look like they are of good quality.

I can say they don't use air stones - those skimmers have air injection valves so they are venturi/downdraft.

    How much?

there is one on ebay but they say it is 10 yrs old and uses an air stone. I don't think I want to go the route of stones. I knew that was what they used then but wasn't sure if still used today. I cannot find prices for the new set-ups.

Air stone skimmers worked but most don't want to clean air stones anymore, drop them a line for prices and let us know what the new ones cost. I'm curious.

I sent an email this morning so hopefully they will respond quickly. I have been googling this skimmer but all I have been able to find is a report someone did back in 1998. Still looking. As soon as I hear back from them, I'll post.

Sounds like a serious foamer and they listened to Bob and put a quick-disconnect on the collection cup replacing the 10 screws. Not bad!

Since they have yet to get back with me, does anyone know how to locate these skimmers and how much they are?
