    When I ordered the maxi jets I didnt realize they had so many options. I got a 900 and 1200. Should I have it set up as the laminar flow or power head?

    I have 2 MJ600's in a 75 gallon, and when I position mine like that they move my sand around in a spot or two across the front glass. I have a mix of CaribSea .5mm-2mm grain sand.

    Cosmo, the way they named the options is confusing, laminar flow is what we think of as a power head, where as powerhead mode is more of like a circulation pump. Atleast thats what it says on my MJ1200
