I have a brand new 75g Marineland tank, and the black trim on the front doesn't appear to be bonded on. On the other 3 sides its on fine, but on the front and on the bottom center brace it doesn't appear to be bonded well.

Should I have to worry, I drilled the holes for the overflow tank last night and went out side and sprayed the tank off, and thats when I noticed water getting between the trim and the tank.

Hope its not a bust because I can't return it now :(

I would not remove it. just lay a bead of silicone on the inside edge of it and force it up in there. removing the rim runs the risk of cracking it and having to order a new one.

They only place silicone in spots on the trim of any brand tank.

I agree! I would put some new silicone where it seem loose. Don't try to remove it, its a pain and you run a risk of snapping the plastic. Silicone it where you can it will be fine.
