:) That's great to hear! They are still selling the Marine Pro 300 for $200 at the Barrier Reef in Boca Raton. If anyone wants one make sure it will fit in your sump and cabinet and I will buy it for $212 w/tax + Shipping + $5.00 for gas.

I decided after being tired of cleaning up the water from a leak in my Coralife 65 Protein Skimmer that I bought a Marine Pro 100 because I couldn't fit the Marine Pro 300 in my sump. I'll keep you posted on how it worked out.

The book says 3" to 8" but I had a hard time at 7.5" and have it in about 4" of water in the sump. The lid is very tight when new with no leaks. So far nothing but water in the cup. Skimmers are very dependent on the water level in the sump and need adjusting when you are topping off. I'll update when skimmate appears.

It is now 11/26 and I'm still waiting for the skimate. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I honestly don't know much about them.

    Two weeks later

It has now been two weeks since I installed the Marine Pro 100 in my 65 gal Tank. I noticed some skimate building up inside the cone and inside the lid. The lid is so tight I have to just barely attach it or I'll need a knife to pry it off. I believe the skimmer has to be set in about 6" of water. It doesn't work as well with more than that. I've been trying to keep it within an inch of that. I know if the water level reaches the top of the light grey plastic piece in front it just sends out water into the cup. I'll keep you all posted as time goes by. I've attached a picture. I hope it comes out.

The pump is on the bottom of the skimmer. Super simple to get to. I am not pulling it out to take a pick but when you need to get to it its right there. You literally pull the skimmer flip it and it just sits in there. I had it appart in about 1 minute when I bought it to see how it worked.
