maristar owners what ballast setting?

    yes i have it on the 250 setting but was wondering what the HQI setting is for?:confused:

    alright i just got off the phone with sun light supply and they said the HQI setting is just like overdriving t5s it gives the bulb a little more power but it will also burn out quicker just like t5s would if they were overdriven. so i will be using the 250w mode.

    good to hear! I just got my maristar fixture and will post pix of mine. the ballasts included are three single electronic galaxies.

    I have Galaxy Select-a-watt ballasts and have the same settings. You should always use the wattage the bulb is rated for.

    nice indeed!! Looked like a perfect fit behind the stand for those ballasts. I have no idea where Imma place my ballasts. I have the galaxy ballasts with the same settings as yours.
