Is it true the Condylactis Anemone will not host a Maroon Clown? I added the anemone a few days ago and it seems to be moving around the tank possibly to get away from the Clown fish, (who loves him dearly).... Will this hurt either one, or just keep them moving?

I have never heard of a Condy hosting a clown fish! I don't think either one will get hurt either, but stranger things have happened!

Mine is now hiding under a rock to try to get away from the clown(I think). The clown is under the rock with him justa' rubbin! Maybe they will make friends, but for the clown I think it's love! ;D

the anemone might just be adjusting to the tank. I have a condy too and it took a week or more to settle in. Now in my 72G it hasn't moved for over 6 months. Of course my false percula clown won't go near it. I think you are off to a good start since your clown is trying to host. The anemone should settle in and you will be good. Keep us updated.

Keep in mind the anemone never chooses the clown, its the clown who must choose and adjust to the anemone.
