Can I find a mate for my maroon. I'm worried if I put in another clown he/she might kill it.
So I was wondering if I could find a mate for my maroon.
    Is it posssiblie

Well, if the one you have is larger, and solitary, it is probably a female.
Most that are solitary end up becoming a female.

I think that clowns can go back to males after becoming a female, but I can't recall for certain.

Some kinds of fish can change sex only once.

That said, I have a friend that put a mean aggro biter maroon into a tank with another mean angry biter, and they paired up. Yes, they had some fights, but they are all good now.

If you put one in much smaller, or much larger you should be fine.

The other issue is that these are mean all on their own.

Get a pair and they get even meaner.

I had a heck of a time removing my large female white striped maroon from my DT. It was biting my fish, even my big sailfin!

In my experience MOST Maroon clowns are mean and aggressive. I had one a few years ago that attacked all other fish in my tank and would move sand around all the time. I gave it back to the LFS after it started pushing my corals around.

I've read that maroons are very aggressive. I'm sure you could add one, but I would be too scared the current clown would kill the new one.

i gave my maroon clown, which was smaller, and starting to be come aggressive, to the other fish and me. he would attack my hand when i put it in the water. anyway a friend who had a larger maroon clown, took him. ( i told him if they dont get along pull him and give me him back to me) well the fish took to each other right away, and almost immediately started to hang out together in the bubble anemone side by side. not sure if thats the norm. or a rare thing. ???

his clown was double the size of mine. maybe thats why it worked
