What all do clownfish eat? My LFS gave me Prime Reef frozen "squares." They recommended half a square every other day.

Sound about right? What else should it be given?

My Maroons eat just about anything I put in tank.

I think they like a variety...so that is what they get (as well as my whole tank). Both carnivore and vegi flake food, frozen stuff (bloodworms, shrimp, fish mash) & some shredded seaweed.

They need different kinds if you want viable eggs and offspring one day.

My female lays eggs about every 8 days or so. But they would never hatch until I fed them different kinds of food. They were first just clear in color. But when I changed diet they are now bright pink/red.

    Good Luck,

So... apparently mine hates frozen food. He takes it and then spits it out.

My LFS gave me some Prime Reef cubes.

Any recommendation for a particular brand, etc? And where do you get shredded seaweed?

    Thanks man!

I feed mine the cubes...are you defrosting the cubes in a glass of tank or RO water first? I feed much less than half a cube though, and that's for the maroon clown and my royal gramma and my 6 line...
