    hey,
one of my maroon clowns has attacked the other and the smaller maroon has lots many parts of its fins. How long does it take for the fins to regenerate and such, im thinking of quaranting him.

Has the bigger one stopped attacking the little one? if not then yes take it out. But if he has stopped then leave it alone as it was most likely just showing the little one who is boss. If you take it out you just might have to go through the same thing if you put it back.

Fins should grow back, watch for secondary infection though. Might want to feed some garlic and feed it as much as it will eat to keep its health up.

    hey, thanks alot...
I made a small container that i put him in in the tank, but then i decided to let him back out. The larger maroon attacked again for about 20 minutes. The smaller one is hiding at the top corner behind a blower, but his fins are beaten badly. The larger one tho isnt attacking him nemore, but possibly cause he cant see him. Ill keep an eye out, thanks alot.

It's always a good idea to keep a newer maroon in the safety of a separate container when introducing to an established maroon, since they are so aggressive. The fins usually take a couple weeks to grown back fully, but if the larger keeps bullying the new one, you may have to divide your tank or separate them completely. FWIW, females will usually beat up a smaller male to establish themselves. From there it will be anyone's guess if they bond.
