maroon clowns

    Hey everyone,
    I'm thinking about purchasing a pair of small maroon clown fish, or possibly one maroon and one black and white clown. I am panning on keeping them in my 20 gal FOWLR nano tank for about 4 months while im at school, then when i move home i will transfer them into my 75 gal tank. its only about an hour car ride, long island to new jersey. im not worried about the transfer, more so about having more then one clown fish in a tank.
    I have heard mixed things about having more then one clown fish. I heard that if you buy them together they will be Okay, but you can not add them at different times. is this true?

    Well it depends, but most of the time different species of clownfish usually do fight.

    You would probably be better off with a pair that were added at the same time.
