maroon with orange lines

    Maroon with bright orange lines. This picture makes it look big but it covers about an area the size of a thumb... It is soft and slimy.

    Looks like a colonial tunicate to me.. from what I can gather from the pic :D

    ok that make sense.

    The photos do not do them justice, they have brilliant color. Are tunicates hard to keep? I am surprised they are not more popular.

    Tunicates tend to be sensitive with some of the colonials being the hardest to care for IME. I know numerous people having great success with the colonials though, Mike @ Azoox.org is one of them. He's got a great progression shot of the growth of his colonies.
