OK - so I have left my newly acquired pair of juvi maroons in a small tank on their own. I decided not to switch the Ocell's out of the DT.
Thanks for all the advice. :)
Now I am more interested in knowing if these little babies are ever gonna come out of hiding!
They sit wedged behind a rock - right on top of each other - barely swimming - JUST ate a little today.
REALLY not active & ALWAYS on the bottom. :p
I'm used to my Ocell's all over the place & OH SO active!
Is this normal for them or after 2 1/2 days am I still being impatient ???
I don't know what I was gonna do if they didn't seem interested in food today!
    Thanks in advance!
I just don't like those little babies scared in one tiny corner & hiding. :(

Imo, you're just being impatient ;)

My false percs were the same way when I got them. If I had to guess, I'd say it took them three weeks to a month to become as active as they are today.

Give them a few days to a week. I wouldn't worry unless they go for 4-5 days or more without eating - just my opinion.

Wow - guess I just got lucky with my ocellaris'. They were active from day 1 & all waddling over the place.
    Thanks.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would give them more time as well.

If not eating try finding out what they ate prior to purchase. Try cyclopeez or mysis as well.

IME it's normal for some younger clowns to hug the corners until they get used to the flow and environment.

    Good luck

    Thanks Corailline
They really are babies. I'll just wait it out & give em more time.
Least they are eating now. :)
