No idea? I just maintain the big three and that's it. No other supplements or anything to promote it. The white spots you see are from my urchin.

Wrong. I painted them all purple. So there!

This did make me laugh though ;D

    Made me laugh too!

Interesting comment on the painting though. I was eyeing some new rock my LFS got in from a tank tear down. There were some beautiful, really purple/pink rock in interesting shapes. I almost bought a piece and then the store owner informs me it was painted - it looked so real - granted there was some actual coralline on the rock but I was so bummed to hear the rock had been painted :( who does that??

Its more common than you think unfortunately. The rock that some mushrooms I got was painted. When its next to real coralline covered rock, you can easily tell the difference. Very silly IMO!

"Reel Reef Rock" is a type of artificail rock that is dyed purple and black.

    If it's artificial and dyed,
What makes it Real? Of was the word Reel intended?

Alex just can't spell (and also doesn't know what galaxia is). They call it "Real Reef Rock", yet it is man made rock that is dyed purple. They have a decent marketing ploy saying that it is saving the reef. 'Cause we all know we can go and and grab all of the live rock off of reefs that we want!

Its true im bad at spelling but there are several species of galaxia out there so dont be a blasttard on that id lol. Alot of people get suckered into it but its super dense and heavy. I really dont like it but for artificial rock its already cured.

Your new additions all look great! I am a big fan of the powder tang, unfortunately I will probably not be able to get any tangs in my 55. :(

Thanks! And no, you are correct in that a Tang won't work in a 55. I was in the same boat as you not too long ago, with a 55. Found a great deal on a 125 on Craigslist :)
