Assuming you didn't make a typo, 300$ is a fantastic deal.. The scape on the right looks a little cluttered though

Thanks Dennis; I was trying to leave some open sand to keep my options open ;)

I love them! They need a week or two to break in, but after that they are dead silent. Just as quiet as Koralias (and likely quieter than Vortechs from what I understand). Two of these provide more than enough flow.

$300 was correct :) Tank, stand, light fixture, sump, return pump, and a UV unit. I just added the second sump, skimmer, reactor, Reef Angel and WP40s.

And yes, I agree with the scape. I will likely be changing it up soon. Thanks for the honesty though, I do appreciate all of the comments/advice! The main issue with the right side is there is one very large piece of LR. It literally weighs over 100lbs when pulled out of the tank. That was the first piece I put in and went from there. But it made it tough to do anything that looked remotely good :-/

I know, 6 weeks to get a new tank cleaned (by the way, man was that thing a mess!), setup/plumbed, filled, all rocks, coral, and sand moved over, and fish. Shame on me! I should have taken 6 months like Alex :p

And now featuring a Flame Angel (just introduced an hour ago):

I only had to take out 90% of the rock in my 46 gal BF to catch him, as expected.

Fish selection, awesome. Reef Angel, awesome (get the water level sensor). Rock scape, not so much. Stack one layer of rocks for a base, then a piece of shelf rock for a ledge and stability, then more rocks on top of that. Makes for a much more dynamic scape that is very stable, and can be easily disassembled to remove corals if necessary. Just get a good sized shelf piece and try it out. Pro tip there.

Thanks Jerry! I intend to get the water level sensor for sure :) And I totally agree on the 'scape. Even when I was in the process of doing it, and immediately after I told my wife that I hated it. But I was moving everything over from the 55 and was on a time crunch. I think what I till do is move the monster piece on the right into the middle of the tank and build off of that. I thought I would like two individual structures, but it did not work :(

Thanks for the pointers though. I will likely rescape it later this week. 3 of the fish were just added, so no need to get them all stressed out right now :)
