    Marty,

That is got to be the nicest looking tank/utility/laundry room I have ever seen!

And my applauds for waiting until it is time to get the tank up and then to get water in it after you plumb the system, etc.

    Strong work, bar none!

This is going to look amazing. I was having trouble seeing it come together and now that I have, I am beyond impressed. What kind of l;lighting is that? t-8?

I'll have to dig back on your build and check for those sometime. :)

Thanks, I really appreciate the comments. :) I would love to take full credit, but my friend Dave has been the builder for much of the project. I'm the idea man and I just assist him in bringing it to reality. He thinks a few steps ahead of me when it comes to progress and has helped to keep me grounded to limit mistakes.

Thanks! =) Yes, we have T8's installed. A 4' bank recessed above the washer and dryer and an 8' bank above the cabinets set back to give a little light under the stand. The whole lighting system kicks on with a motion sensor when you come in, turning off after 5 minutes of no activity.

It's a bright room, so I didn't want the lights to be left on all night while the fishes were Zzz'ing. =)

I am also putting an air purifier in the room to limit dryer lint/dust from getting into the system, as well as a humidity fan that kicks on when it gets above 50% humidity in the room.

It's kind of nice going slowly so I can plan. I've been reading up and have gotten many good ideas from the builds of reefers here!

If my my sump/fuge doesn't show up soon it is going to put a little delay on things, but it should be almost ready to ship.

Wow just caught up on the build. Very nice so far. And you say Seattle area, like close enough to catch a Seahawks game on the weekend? If so I will be visiting next season. :p

    Thanks!

I live about 40 miles outside of Seattle, but still close enough to catch a game!

So close I can taste the salt water!

Trim mostly up today, more cabinets above laundry station, cabinets above tank go in tomorrow. Those will also support my LEDs mounted to underside.

My 3" and 1.5" hole saws should be delivered tomorrow - then, we drill!

The tank will also be sliding into place tomorrow for the first time as a test fit before we drill.

Sorry about the back yard in the one photo, we are getting ready to re-seed. :) And ignore my dog Bill in the background, who apparently was taking care of business. lol

More pictures tomorrow of the tank in the HOLE! Woohoo!

The cabinets in slide 5 look off level, but they are indeed level. :) It is a flat roof, so it drops an inch every 8' for water run off. :) Had to mention that, I am a perfectionist and it drives me nuts, but it is what it is. lol

I promise there will be a test fit picture tonight, but it doesn't look like I will be drilling today as my hole saws were still processing over night.

EDIT: They did ship and delivered this morning. So I will be drilling this afternoon. :)
