My sump is close to town and I should be able to get it this afternoon. So excited!

Also, I ordered 9 black axle chromis and a sand sifting star from LiveAquaria. I was going to wait a week, but they have an awesome deal right now for small BAC's, $8.99 each!

They will arrive tomorrow and I will be setting up the QT again this morning.

I am shocked to log this morning that I have lost my pygmy angelfish (avatar). My sump was installed last night and I added roughly 40 gallons of LFS salt water to get the sump going. Everything went great all parameters checked out fine:

    1.0255 sg
    79*
    0 ppm amm
    .05 ppm trites
    1.8 ppm trates
    0 ppm phos
    8.4 dKH
    8.2 ph

Before I went to bed I saw him grazing on the rocks and he looked good. :(

EDIT: I should add that all other fish look normal and don't appear stressed.

what differentiates the black axil on the chromis? They look very similar to blue/green reef chromis.

The are almost identical, but they appear to have black outline around their profile. A little sharper detail than the blue/greens.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Marty what else was in the tank with the Angel? I have found the Dwarfs to be very hardy.
