Thanks for following along, hopefully it will help you somehow with your set-up. Here is a current photo of the whole room. A few touch up spots for paint. And ignore the mess on the carpet, my dogs were wrestling around and left hair angels. :)

Oh, and I'm starting to think I'm not getting coralline yet. The spot looks a little brown today. :(

Here is what I have ordered to stick in my sump...

2 each BRS GFO & Carbon Reactor – Deluxe with MJ1200 Pump (for GFO and Carbon)
4 extra BRS Reactor Replacement Pads
1/2 Gallon - BRS Bulk Premium ROX 0.8 Carbon
1.75 lbs. - BRS Bulk GFO - High Capacity

I have about 3-5 types of nuisance algae invading my tank right now and clearly I have a phosphate issue as my nitrates are almost zero, roughly .15 as of my last test. The phosphates tested zero, but we all know that is for inorganic orthophosphate's anyway, not the organic sort. And the inorgatic phosphates may be getting absorbed as quickly as they leech off my rock. I've had my phil (pun intended) of phosphates and nuisance algae, so I am taking action. The worst are the hair and bubble algae. Blech. I have a little red and green slime too and they are disgusting.

We were going to go with the highly recomended MR1 reactors, but decided on the BRS models as they have exellent reviews and are a bit cheaper. When I get these babies installed I will post some before and after shots of my algae to see the progress.

I'll be out of town for another 10 days, give or take, so I will report out on my results in September sometime.

    Wish me luck. :)

Thanks. :) Glad I inspired some updates on your side. I checked for a build thread and couldn't find one. :) Have a link so I could check out your latest?

More of upgrades and maintenance than a build thread. I had burnt outlets, Low flow, no real sump and fugue. So I added more flow and a fuge/sump. ATO and still have a few more things to complete.
