I have two mated pair percula clowns which I paid good money for who refuse to eat. I got them from a company called sunco pets. I have tried everything I have, frozen foods thawed and garlic added, freeze dried plankton with garlic added, and so called clownfish flakes with garlic added.. I have also tried to hang algae on a clip to see if they would nibble at it, no avail.. So All params are ok, and they just wont eat.. please help me..

    thanks..

Whether or not a new fish will eat is always a potential issue. Sorry, but I personally know of no remedy for this situation. As was posted on a different thread recently, buy no fish before asking the LFS to feed them, and watching them eat.

Of course, this can't be done if you bought them online. If that's the case, I might suggest some live brine shrimp. If they still don't eat, I don't know what to do. :(

    Good luck, bama. That's tough.

Where are you getting your clowns? Sounds like they are wild caught, as these are typical problems with wild caught clowns. Go to a REPUTABLE dealer and get some tank hatched and raised clowns.

I've only lost 1 item from liveaquaria.com they sent me a replacement within 24 hours free of charge and gave me the overnight shipping on a saturday for free as well :)

Great place IMHO, however sometimes you do pay a premium with them.

I have looked at live aquaria. I might have to save up so I can get some fish and alot of corals at the same time. Its to help me justify the shipping..
