I have the tank, silicone, super glue and acrylic. I am doing a skimmer section, then fuge and finally a bubble trap before the return section.

    Am I missing anything?

Forgot to mention. My LFS was having a dollar a gallon tank sale, so the 20gl was only $21 with tax!

Cool. But Glass & acrylic don't bond together so well. I suggest you silicone the glass to glass or weld the acrylic to acrylic..

So what are your ideas for your sections and baffles.

+1 the acrylic baffles won't last to long being siliconed to glass.

Never heard of the glass and acrylic not bonding. You are really siliconing the acrylic to the glass, so what is the issue? I used this method on my first sump and everything went well. Just curious, what fails? I guess it would be where you silicone the acrylic to the glass?

Over time, where the pressure isn't completely equal on both sides the acrylic bends and pops out of place. The silicone will adhere to the glass, but not well to the acrylic creating a possible fail point. Take the time to get glass cut and save yourself the possibility of the baffles coming out of place.

    ^That's what I thought.

I am going ahead with the acrylic and glass method. I helped my bro-in-law with his 38g build and he has no signs of any issues with the seams coming apart and we built his sump/fuge well over a year ago.
