    Hey Matt,

Great looking setup. I am using the nac-6 on my new build as well. Can I ask where you got the sump and stand at? I have been looking for awhile for the same demensions. You should come to the Ncrc frag swap in April. It will be at Aquatic Collections in Hayward. It would be great to meet you. Jim's store is great. Good to see a shop pushing for aquaculture. Lmk on the sump and stand really intrested.

    Thanks,

    Matt

Schweet on the corals Matt! Looks like some accompanying padina? Not sure if you are fresh on it but, some consider it a nuisance. I, however,
had it in my 55 and was never an issue. Mine was an ugly brown though.
And if that's not padina, then, I'm just talking to myself. Outloud:-X

Maybe down the road! :) ;)

Well at this point I guess you can call it mixed. ;) But hopefully not too much. I want to get some more zoas, some rics, some monitpora digitata again and a bird's next and clam down the road. Not sure what else, but I am going to try and keep this clean and not overstock or stack too much in there.

Thanks all! I am enjoying this.

Hi Matt - that is a stock Neo Nano aquarium, stump and stand from Deep Sea Aquatics. (link in 1st post) - I think I've seen it for sale at Marine Depot.

Looks like it is to me. I kind of like macro-algaes - so I will probably let it grow. Why do they consider it a nuisance? Because it is slightly dinging calcium?

Eh, I believe, it's not that appealing to most and, as a hitchiker, isn't considered a score. There's some pretty sweet looking padina. I had a nice bright orange kind that was a superscore though. There's some nice looking purple here in this link.

    Matt,

I am wondering how that ATO is working for you and if you have noticed any issues with it as I am in the market for a reliable one.

It is bullet-proof - I have been running a Tunze on another tank of mine for years without fail.

Thanks!! I'll do one in a few days when I finish my refugium.

    New corals today

New pics with my new zoas and ric that I bought yesterday from 3reef Sponsor Salty Underground and got today.. love 'em! THanks much Salty! The coral on the zoas are nice! Oh and so is the chaeto!! The ric is REALLY green - it is still a bit crumpy - I know it will be sweet when it opens up! 8)

Hit the food timer and took some pics ... I will take a better one of the ric (hidden under light spot) later today..

Oh and that dead hard coral is attached to the indo rock I bought - I wish it came to me alive.. I am going to have to grow some coral on top of it so I don't have to explain that again. ;D

I just installed one and it works great. I put it through a few tests and an accidental one. Worked perfectly. The buzzer does sound like my oven when it is done preheating. I got confused when the accidental test occurred.

    Matt,
love the way you setup the rockwork, it reminds me of the reef canyons on the East End of Grand Cayman :)
