I have a male and a female, they are always together. But when they are nervous, they are often found huddled against the glass.

I've read they may be aggressive to one another. It would be very nice to have a pair, but from what I've read it sounds like you have to find a mated pair or they won't get along. Thank you for the insight and I'll keep you updated on how he does.

A quick update: After my white lights went out and only a couple blue actinic bulbs were left on, he got a little bolder. He left the glass swam around a bit, and even picked at some stuff on a powerhead. Good signs.

Good to hear. When you run out of anemones, they like frozen mysis and frozen Krill.

So far he's eaten whatever I put in the tank-mysis, chopped table shrimp, clam, squid.

He's welcome to the macro I put in for my yellow tang... Still acting shy and hanging around the fringe. I haven't seen him touch aiptasia/majano yet.

After 3 days he still hasn't touched aiptasia or majano, and he's still a little timid, but he's getting better all the time. Hopefully he'll get braver in the next couple days.

This is by far the most skittish fish I've ever had. I just started to move the mag float around to take off a little algae and he jumped, slammed into my light, and fell back into the tank. Then he disappeared for a few minutes into the rocks, and now he is back up in the top corner. If he doesn't calm down in the next couple days I may bring him back to the LFS and look into a Klein's or a Copperband or something else to deal with aiptasia/majano. I'm afraid if someone makes a sudden move near the tank he'll jump.

Mine stayed like that for a good month or more.
