Should i add a flame angel as my 4th and final fish?

  1. No, i wouldn't risk it with the corals.

  2. go for it! as long as you keep it fed it shouldn't be an issue.

if you want a dwarf angel i would at least suggest another type other than a flame, maybe a coral beauty or a tiny cherub.

Anyone know how to get my YWG to eat? He's shy and doesn't come out at feeding time.

Would he be more likely to eat then? Can they see the food? He stays hidden 90% of the time.

I really don't think that fish have to see the food to know that it is there. I usually feed my fish by dropping the food in the return water from my HOB filter. All the fish come from wherever they are at the time to eat. I think they since it somehow lol. Can't hurt to try right?

I know my blenny will only eat off the sandbed. Try putting it on there to see if he will eat it.

That's what a LFS told me when I bought mine and I wished I didn't listen to them. While some dwarf angels are more prone than others at nipping at corals, I think they all should be treated with caution.

Mine behaved himself for a bit and then started eating my trachy. The trachy is starting to look like it will never recover now. He hasn't touched my clam yet and shows interest in my acan lords, but I can't tell if he's going to actually start nipping.

Now the cherub himself is an awesome little guy and is my favorite fish. One of the smaller dwarf angels and will be a perfect size for your cube. If you do end up getting an angel, I would recommend one of the pygmy ones. Plus you already have two orange clowns, mix up the color scheme a bit :)
