I add diff rocks from time to time in my tank to make my own live-rock. basically starts out bleached, bacteria begin colonizing, then coraline will begin. the green is totally natural, it's just a variance of coraline. It's looking good, I like the mangroves! You should look into adding a separate fuge underneath your DT, it's actually really easy to do!

Thanks! Ive been thinking about it, but my parents don't like the idea because it's just another thing that could go wrong.

 

You should just tell them that it's actually going to simplify a lot of things and make problems easier to address. The likely hood of something going wrong is minimal and the advantages are really high

 

Yeah I know. I just spilt about 3 gallons of water onto the floor tonight when I forgot to turn my rodi off. My parents probably aren't going to want anything like that.

No it was tile. The problem I it went from the upstairs bathroom, through the tile and drywall, into the downstairs bathroom wich is also tile.

 

you should get a float valve then. those help a ton.
