Should i add a flame angel as my 4th and final fish?

  1. No, i wouldn't risk it with the corals.

  2. go for it! as long as you keep it fed it shouldn't be an issue.

Sorry to here about the wrasse.:( thanks for the input cosmo, thats a good way to put it. I hopefully will be able to make it to the lfs on sunday to look at and price fish. If i end up wanting a wrasse it will definatly be the four line, i cant keep up with the flasher wrasses feeding habits lol. Im still leaning towards the wrasse over the angel, i want to be able to add coral with confidence lol.

Dude you'll love the wrasse, i'm telling ya, SUPER fun to watch, Busy lil buggers. I'd do what evolved says, but man those leopard wrasses like grinder just got are cool. Just have your LFS order whatever ya decide. I'm gonna have mine do that for my next one.

Your 4 line is pretty damn cool looking too!

Alot of the time it seems like it costs just about the same to make led's that can support everything as opposed to just buying one.

Im not sure if this is true in all cases, but thats what i have seen

I have never done it personally, but I would say its by far the best bang for your buck. You will get the best lighting system for the money and learn a bit about electrical work and wiring which is a plus as well. There are a ton of DIY threads out there for LED retrofits. Biocube on here has done it to his as well as a couple others Im sure.

    Pros
    -Cheaper
    -More powerful
-Customizable, allowing for a more full spectrum
-You get to learn while putting the unit together
    -Controllable and dimmable

    Cons
-You have to put it together

Thats really all that I can think of. I would say go for it. It will be a bunch cheaper than buying another unit off the shelf.
