Should i add a flame angel as my 4th and final fish?

  1. No, i wouldn't risk it with the corals.

  2. go for it! as long as you keep it fed it shouldn't be an issue.

You can get that stuff cheap at Home Depot or Lowes. It is really easy to do as well.

Part of it is the climate here in Texas. It's pushing 85 right now and in the summer it will be around 110. It costs ALOT to keep the house at 75 while it's that hot outside. And if the house gets over 78, my tank hits 83-84.

    If this stuff doesn't work that's where I'll go.:D

Oh and remember when I was excited last weekend because my tank was at 76? Well I just found out that's because the lights were off and the heater had been unplugged. -__-

Ok, I guess I just haven't noticed an issue since I live the Great Northwest lol. The T5's should really help with this though. I wonder how much of a heat difference there is between CF and T5's?

So, what if you just leave the heater unplugged.

    LOL. man i love Washington.

I'm sure that the heat won't be TOO different. definitely better though. i think the difference is that with the t5 theres no hood to trap in heat. air will move all around the fixture and put into the room, not the tank. ;D
