Should i add a flame angel as my 4th and final fish?

  1. No, i wouldn't risk it with the corals.

  2. go for it! as long as you keep it fed it shouldn't be an issue.

Yeah I aim for twice daily. It's more natural for the fish to feed small amounts throughout the day. I'm looking into getting a fish feeder, then I'll feed very small amounts 4 times daily.

A good skimmer will fix that. And rinsing your food.

You are right, I was just being a SA honestly. The whole phosphate thing is debatable as well though. I"m not entirely convinced as of yet, but I'm still fairly new at all of this as well. I always say, better safe then sorry.

its really hard for those things to mess up i had a crappy one that had a tube which you tilted to direct how much food to put in your tank. It went on once a day and worked pretty well. i could never find out when i needed to change batteries but thats a lot better than the lid for it falling off or something.

I'd still be scared haha! I will get one too, eventually. I go away for 3 weeks in the summer (beach house;)) so i really need to make my tank self-sufficient for at least a week at a time by then.

Speaking of this, im going away for lile 6 days for spring break...what do i need to do? They can go without a water change, but do they need to be fed every day by someone?

Gboy, fish can go DAYS without eating, although, its not that nice. I'd have someone go over every other day and feed.
