Should i add a flame angel as my 4th and final fish?

  1. No, i wouldn't risk it with the corals.

  2. go for it! as long as you keep it fed it shouldn't be an issue.

You have 2 options. Put him in QT and use copper

Nah no QT. That will stress him out a lot more. I'm going to just try and keep him healthy in the cube. I'll start soaking food in garlic.

the rest of your fish are prone to getting it if you keep him in there.

U can buy a 10 gal if you meant you dont have one.

If you simply dont want too, then ya, other fish will get it and could all die instead of just the 1

A healthy fish will not get ich. Ich occurs when the mucus coating on a fish gets thin when the fish is stressed out, that's when the parasite strikes. My clowns and cardinal are perfectly healthy therefore they won't catch it. In order for me to QT the angel I would need to remove all my rock and
chase the angel around with a net, that would stress him out even more, which could push him over the edge. The best remedy IMO is to stay calm, keep parameters stable and keep feeding him.

And jack, don't be, they are quite hardy when it comes to ich, unlike tangs.

By the way, I soaked the crap out of his mysis tonight with garlic and he ate.;)
