Should i add a flame angel as my 4th and final fish?

  1. No, i wouldn't risk it with the corals.

  2. go for it! as long as you keep it fed it shouldn't be an issue.

What should I feed the angel? I was thinking mysis every other day and NLS every other day with a seaweed clip available at all times. Good?

Pay pal says that the RODI will arrive
Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll start the cycle when it gets here. I heard something about "flushing" a new rodi. Can I just start making water when it gets here or...?

I would not personally add a flame angel to this tank. And grammas can be mean little guys. But you are gonna do what you are gonna do. lol

As far as the RODI unit you will need to flush the DI membrane. It comes with a preservative in the membrane and it needs to be cleaned out or the water will be contaminated. Also, when you set up your RODI unit, READ THE DIRECTIONS! The directions I received with mine were fairly vague. So I set it up wrong and long story short it took me a while to fix it. The section of the manual I needed was stuck in the bottom of the box.... Yeah, I wish that never happened. lol

READ EVERY WORD MY FRIEND!!!! The last thing you want to do is blow a RO Membrane.

If you do Bulk Reef Supply they have great support and how-to videos. :)

Just went to a GINORMOUS lfs. I found a ton of sweet frozen foods, squid, silversides, mysis, and angel food! Would it be a good idea to feed all of these? I know it's not nesesary but I want the best for my fishes. I could probably alternate between 3-4 foods.

I alternate foods myself. I don't see what it would hurt. ;D

I alternate as much as I can as well. If you do decide to go with a flame angel get the smallest flame angel you can. Do you plan on soaking your food in anything?
