Should i add a flame angel as my 4th and final fish?

  1. No, i wouldn't risk it with the corals.

  2. go for it! as long as you keep it fed it shouldn't be an issue.

IT'S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's the plan: tonight, fill it up until it comes right under the overflow. Let the sand settle, when it's clear I'll add the rest and start the pumps, heater, filtration and add salt. Bueno?

I just took the membrane out and ran it under room temp water for a couple minutes. Then I let it soak for about 30 minutes in room temp water. Ran it under tap water again for a little while, then added it to the DI canister. I think I did it wrong though. The first 40 gallons I produced were garbage and caused nothing but algae to grow. Hopefully someone else will chime in with a good answer. It took me a while to fix. I wouldnt want to see that happen to your tank.

Alright I've got it going. It will take about 3 hour to flush the thing so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to fill it up.

It will be worth it. Much better than adding tainted water. Thats for sure. It took me atleast 2 months to completely clean up that mess.

My first frag tank. Not much was in it at the time, but I still didnt want to look at an algae forest. Haha. Its almost all gone away now. But some algae is typical in a frag tank. I spoil those corals and fish like crazy.
