Should i add a flame angel as my 4th and final fish?

  1. No, i wouldn't risk it with the corals.

  2. go for it! as long as you keep it fed it shouldn't be an issue.

Snails are indestructible (unless teamed up on by crabs). :p

When I moved (to the house I'm at now) I had my crabs in a 10g tank while I got the 29g set up. I came back a few days later to find that I had taken the heater, but forgot some of the hermits. It got down to 62* F; the crabs were alive and moving around.

cool cool. just waiting for my params to level out so that i can do a PWC and get on with it!

I've been thinking, what if i add the goby and my sand can't handle all of the movement and i get the dust bowl again!? not good.

What sand do you have? I have sugar-fine Carib-Sea Aragonite. I am thinking about adding a red stripe goby. Just don't get a sand-sifting type of goby and I think you should be OK.

i have the exact sand sand mixed with a coarser grain. its 3 to 1 sugar to coarse. the sugar sand is extremely sensitive. hows yours?

Sand gets kicked up when I use a turkey baster on the upper rocks. haha It has developed a layer of clumped sand/detritus on the top now, but that just tells me I need some more nassarius snails to run the bed over. I don't want clumpy sand.
