Should i add a flame angel as my 4th and final fish?

  1. No, i wouldn't risk it with the corals.

  2. go for it! as long as you keep it fed it shouldn't be an issue.

Nah, double dosing never helps but you can increase dosage slowly over time depending on whether the nutrients are depleting or remaining stable. This will take a lot of testing. If I were you just stick to the recommended dosage.

Alright I'll just go with what it says on the bottle. Hopefully it will bring them down to zero in a couple days.

Since the light you have is plastic, you could take a hacksaw or a dremel to it for a perfect fit.

    Wouldn't that overheat the water?

Since its flourescent, I really doubt it. I just can't see it affecting it to the point where it makes the tank temp change too much.

Yeah I don't think heat would be a problem. It's like 6" off the water. I COULD take a hacksaw to it. If I did that I think I would put it back on my freshwater tank with some egg crate and then take the led lamp from my freshy and out it over the fuge. That way it's more accessible.
