Should i add a flame angel as my 4th and final fish?

  1. No, i wouldn't risk it with the corals.

  2. go for it! as long as you keep it fed it shouldn't be an issue.

Hmm. So it could have been a matter of minutes, or hours.

No corals yet, right? I wouldn't worry too much about the fish. But fix the salinity level just so its back to normal).

That's really weird that the ATO switch would warp? :-/

Yeah I'm not too worried about the fish. No corals yet. I just emailed eshopps. I hope I can get a refund. If my reservoir was filled all the way it would have flooded over the biocube.
Manual ATO is going to suck.

What about using an aqualifter pump for your ato and store the reservoir in the tank stand?

That would be cool. What all would I need to get that set up?

Ehh. But float switches.... I'd rather go gravity.

Oh, you are right. I forgot that would require a float switch.

Well on my tank I am doing a diy gravity-fed ato (not running yet because my bulkheads are too small for the airline tubing).

Here's a breakdown of the parts

    5g bucket
    bulkhead
    1" or 3/4" 90* elbow
    1" or 3/4" ball valve
    two air valves
    airline tubing
silicone (to make bucket air-tight lid)

Here's mine before I glued the elbow and ball valve in place.
