Should i add a flame angel as my 4th and final fish?

  1. No, i wouldn't risk it with the corals.

I found a much better container for gravity ATOs which is the one I use. The lid has a 1/2" or 3/4" female threading on it so you could just screw a ball valve with threaded adapter directly into it. The top is small and easy to silicone, it is flat sided for easier drilling of bulkheads and square so it can fit anywhere.

Actual product, the pic on the hedwin site makes it look weird.[IMG]

Yeah, the site pic does not look anything like the real thing :p

Thanks Sean, I saw it and figured it was perfect.

Cool, Why are you using a float valve with a gravity ATO? Just use the displacement method like Sean is and get one of these for added security so the tubes won't slip:

Actually Sean you could get those Vertex Probe Holders that they had on Marine Engineers and review it while doing the same thing. 2 slots for the tubing and one for your ACjr. temp probe! ;D

I just thought the float valve would be better.... I think the reason it split is because when I unplugged the pumps to feed and do water changes , the water level goes above the valve which may have put stress on It.

Today I'll be selling my old iPod touch to GameStop. Hopefully I'll get something significant to put towards coral and lights. I also want to get a protein skimmer.
