ok so heres what im thinking.. Im prolly gonna be running the big reef octo skimmer and also run a Precision Marine RL 200 skimmer as well.. the reef octo is rated at 400 gallons and the PM RL 200 is rated at 200 so 600 gallons to total skimming

    pair black clowns
    6 yellow tangs
    6 bartlets anthias
    1 purple tang
    1 blonde naso tang
1 mandy (but will be a ways away so pod pop. can build up)
    a few gobies
and a few wrasses that will be ok with a barebottom

all fish will be bought at the small size

Which wrasse? Alot need a sandy bottom to sleep in.

Fairy and Flasher wrasses should be fine, leopard, halichoeres, and quite a few may have issues as they like sand to sleep in. I've read some people keep them anyways and they hug up against rocks at night.

Potential problem with the yellows and purple since they are from the same genus. You will need to add all at the same time to help with keeping aggression down.

just wondering why so many Yellow Tangs? I agree you would need to add Yellow/Purple at the same time to lower aggresion. If I had a 150g I would prob have 2 Tangs max, less chance of stress, fighting. More room for other fish. Just my 2 cents.

are you serious with 8 tangs in a 150? dont want to be a loser and i know your really experienced just i think that wont work out good. i would go with 4 yellow tangs and thats it. if your looking to school then at least.

Second list seams more reasonable. I've seen Harlequin's be really aggressive. Ripping fish to pieces. and others are perfect tank mates. they are hard to predict
