I have a leak from the silicon I applied. Any tips to seal it beside loading the area with silicon?

    Remove and replace? lol.

No need to pile on the silicone. Just touch up the area that had leaked.

It would suck if I had to start over. I'll just try and touch it up

Woot no more leak (even tho it wouldnt have been a big deal if it leaked)! Did the eBay seller send the hole-saw and the bulkheads yet??

It might be hard on you to align the holes since it has the overflow box fixed, the drain holes are gonna have to be precise when you drill!! I drilled first, measured and measured, had the glass cut, and siliconed the box...

Naw, he will be fine. I built my overflow box first, that way I could nail down exactly where I wanted to drill the drain holes. I wanted to make sure that a 1 inch street ell would sit perfect on the bottom of the overflow box. Then I drilled holes around the sides of the elbow to let water flow through. Perfect strainer.

    I see!
How far are the elbows from the bottom of the overflow, insanespain?

What is a street L versus a regular one?

They are literally touching the bottom glass. The water flows through the holes I drilled in the sides of the elbow.

A street ell has a male end and a female end. That way it will slip right into a bulkhead or any other female fitting.
