yea i think it is a good amount, there is a huge piece in my sump and a small piece, the local guys i bought the rock from texted me right after i left and told me to come get some more, he gave me 3 smaller (yet still good) pieces and told me that as soon as i had left a guy called him to buy the rest of his rock and wouldnt want the smaller pieces. got a great deal. that rock is really dense, i dont know exactly how much i have in there but im sure it exceeds 50 lb easy.

Well, right now I'm looking at about a week before power is restored at my place. I'm currently chillen with the g/f at her place. It's one of the few places in Bristol Ct that still has power. So, I'm looking into ways of backups, solar power, etc. Would kill for a hot shower right now. lol.

On the plus side, gives me plenty of time to browse here, and rat rod sites for ideas. :p

Oh I don't have a tank setup right now. But this power outage has confirmed in my head that a backup of some sort is an absolute necessity in the new england area. Its not a matter of if the power goes out, but when.

We now return this thread to its regularly scheduled update. :p
