maxi jet mods work too well

    Thanks, you guys have been a lot of help. The bummer is that I could have bought the entire kit for $20 as opposed to just the mod for $9!

    Why doesn't maxi jet learn from this mod and make the units better?

    I use the maxi jet 900 with this mod in my 30 gal and the water tries to come over the walls of the tank. Lots of power!!!

    I have a mj mod on my mj1200 that is pushing 3000gph. I also have the suregrip 50 magnet, but I had to buy the suregrip 100's as the sides of my tank are too thick for the suregrip 50 to hold.

    Now, the 3000gph mj mod is not too powerful for my tank, but then again it is 200 gallons.
    I also have a K3 and a K4 with the 600 or so gph of the return.
