Thinking I am going to turn my pico into a maxi mini garden with anemone inverts. So far I have a Par30 from Boostled, Topfin 20 (100gph) filter and a korilla Nano 240.

Is this too much flow for Maxis? I'm just not feeling pico frag tank right now and thought I would try a Maxi garden. Something not too common and I can easily make a bit of money propagating or increase the number of Maxis in the tank for a big garden.

Looking for thoughts and suggestions. As well as any tips from current garden owners.

It's a 3 gallon. Currently used as a small grow-out/frag-tank. Have about a 100+gph turn over which is over kill for a pico but tell that to the zoas. ;D

maxi's arent high flow lovers. that sounds like an awful lot in such a small place for them.

Yeah most will be sold to my LFS so they can help spread the Maxis around here.

I know what you mean. I'm located in north Texas and there's literally nothing with anemone in the name unless it was half dead. So I'm hoping I can scoop up enough from Mr. Coral for free shipping from the $10 section. ;D And then start from there.

I've got a 40 Breeder that I think would look nice with a crap load of Maxi Mini islands and anemone inverts.

Sorry I can't tell you much about that either since I haven't been able to find much of anything on them. As far as I know, moderate flow (whatever that is, I have nothing specific.) feed a few times a week with meaty foods, I've read anything from PC to LEDs for lighting.

I will let you guys know when I can get a hold of one.
